Who We Are
Creating Opportunities for a Brighter Tomorrow
Moonflower Autism Foundation was officially established on 23 December 2022 by a group of devoted parents of individuals with autism and dedicated professionals committed to promoting the rights, education, development, and well-being of people with autism.
Although the Foundation was officially formed in 2022, it’s Executive Members and General Members have been actively involved in the autism movement in Bangladesh since 1998, making significant contributions to autism education, training, advocacy, and awareness. The founding members were among the pioneers who helped develop the early autism movement and services in Bangladesh.
The aims and objectives of Moonflower Autism Foundation include education and training, empowerment, skill development, rehabilitation, inclusion, and improving the quality of life of individuals with autism and their families.
The Foundation operates a well-equipped and structured education and training centre, Moonflower School for Autism, providing specialized education, training, rehabilitation, and support services to individuals with autism and their families.
Building on decades of experience and commitment to the autism sector, Moonflower Autism Foundation continues to work toward creating an inclusive, autism-friendly, and sustainable society where individuals with autism can develop their abilities, achieve greater independence, exercise their rights, and enjoy a better quality of life.
